What is Our Ocean trying to do?

We are working to instill a sense of ownership for our ocean's health in everyone local, especially kids.

Our idea is that if everyone feels a sense of ownership for Our Ocean then they will not only be more likely to pick up trash, and not leave trash behind in the first place.

How are we doing this?

We are working with many different organizations to spread this message to different parts of our community. Some of our partners include Grades of Green, Skechers, City of Manhattan Beach, and Manhattan Beach Little League.

How can you help?

You can help us by picking up trash at the beach, telling everyone you know about our message, purchasing merchandise, or by reaching out to us via email at ouroceansurf@gmail.com for partnerships and sticker requests.

We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Skechers Friendship Walk this year on October 20th. Thank you for helping spreading the message by putting Our Ocean stickers in the 12,000 gift bags given out!

We are partnering with Grades of Green's RISE Program to develop a curriculum that can be taught in elementary schools to educate the kids about ocean conservation and Our Ocean's message!

We believe Our Ocean is key to a sustainable future.

We are commited to starting change at a local level. We can influence ocean conservation by the choices that we make, including something as simple as what we choose to wear or buy. Our Ocean is named to remind everyone that we are all responsible for taking care of what is ours. When people see our logo we want them to think about what they can do to protect Our Ocean.

To increase our impact and donations, we plan to invest in machinery that lowers our costs, and in materials that are from sustainable sources.

We also partner and collaborate with local businesses and non-profits. Please contact us if we can help promote your group's activities through activation and merchandise.
